This position is responsible for leading maintenance operations under Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), including planning, scheduling, and overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance activities for equipment and facilities. The role involves supervising maintenance teams, allocating resources, monitoring work quality, and ensuring that service-level agreements and safety standards are consistently met. The Senior Maintenance Manager will review maintenance reports, diagnose recurring issues, coordinate with vendors and clients, and implement improvements to maximize equipment uptime and lifecycle. The role also includes preparing budgets, optimizing costs, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders regarding maintenance plans, performance, and compliance.Responsible for managing and overseeing all after-sales service, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, breakdown response, troubleshooting, repair, testing, commissioning, and technical support activities for commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment.Ensures that maintenance operations are delivered safely, efficiently, and withinagreed service levels while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customersatisfaction. The position is also responsible for managing the maintenance team,AMC/PPM contracts, warranty claims and coordination with manufacturers andsuppliers, spare parts requirements, service documentation, manpower deployment,and overall departmental performance.QualificationsStrong supervisory skills with experience in leading, mentoring, and evaluating maintenance teams.Proficiency in equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance, including troubleshooting and optimizing equipment performance.Expertise in maintenance management and maintenance & repair, with the ability to plan, implement, and improve AMC service operations.Proven experience in managing Annual Maintenance Contracts, including client coordination and adherence to service-level agreements.Solid understanding of safety regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in facilities and equipment maintenance.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on reliability and uptime.Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment.Relevant technical qualification or diploma/degree in engineering or a related field; prior experience in a senior maintenance or AMC management role is highly beneficial.

• Manage the overall Service & Maintenance Department, including daily operations, manpower deployment, technician scheduling, and service performance.
• Oversee preventive maintenance (PPM), corrective maintenance, emergency breakdowns, troubleshooting, and repairs of commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment.
• Manage AMC/PPM contracts, ensuring scheduled visits are completed on time and contractual service requirements are met.
• Supervise the maintenance and repair of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment, including cooking equipment, dishwashers, food-preparation equipment, refrigeration units, cold rooms, freezer rooms, commercial washing machines, dryers, ironing and finishing equipment, and relatedelectrical, gas, and mechanical systems..
• Provide technical guidance for complex equipment faults, conduct root-cause analysis, and minimize recurring breakdowns and repeat service calls.
• Oversee testing and commissioning of newly installed equipment and ensure defects are rectified before final handover.
• Manage and evaluate maintenance supervisors, technicians, electricians, and refrigeration technicians, including productivity, technical competency, and work quality.
• Review and verify spare-parts requirements before procurement to ensure correct specifications and prevent unnecessary replacement or excessive costs.
• Ensure complete and accurate service reports, maintenance records, equipment histories, warranty records, and AMC/PPM documentation.
• Manage warranty and after-sales service, including coordination with manufacturers and suppliers for technical support and warranty claims.
• Handle escalated customer complaints and technical concerns and maintain strong relationships with commercial kitchen clients.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with HSE requirements, manufacturer recommendations, company procedures, and applicable UAE regulations.
• Monitor department KPIs such as response time, repair time, first-time fix rate, repeat breakdowns, PPM completion, technician productivity, customer satisfaction, and maintenance costs.
• Coordinate with Projects, Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, Finance, and HR to ensure efficient service and maintenance operations.
• Attend and participate in technical, product, equipment, and software training programs within the UAE and overseas, as required by the company, manufacturers, suppliers, or principals, and ensure that acquired technical knowledge is effectively applied and shared with the Service & Maintenance team.Qualifications & EducationsBachelor’s degree in business administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, a minimum ofeight (8) years of relevant industry experience, including substantial experience in a managerial capacitywithin the same or a closely related field.AbilitiesGood understanding of the technical features of MEP.Strong knowledge of Commercial Kitchen EquipmentTechnical capability and understandingRequired to travel from time to timeProficient User of ERP or SAP Software
