Senior Maintenance Manager (GSE)Humble, Tx | IAH Airport OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager (GSE) to lead fleet and shop operations within a fast-paced service environment. This role is focused on operational excellence, customer engagement, team development, and driving accountability across the operation. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience within fleet, logistics, warehousing, GSE, or equipment-based operations and understands how to lead technical teams without being the primary hands-on technical expert.Key ResponsibilitiesLead daily fleet and shop operations while driving structure, accountability, and operational disciplineEnsure consistent execution of maintenance standards, safety protocols, and operational proceduresEstablish operating plans, performance expectations, and measurable KPIs across the operationAllocate labor and resources to maximize equipment uptime and ensure on-time service deliveryOversee equipment reliability, PM compliance, repair cycle times, and out-of-service trendsIdentify operational risks and implement solutions to improve efficiency, reliability, and customer serviceMaintain strong relationships with customers, technicians, supervisors, and shop leadership teamsCoach and mentor supervisors to strengthen leadership capability and operational performanceSupport financial performance through labor productivity, cost control, and operational efficiencyChampion a strong safety culture, including lockout/tagout compliance and operational safety standardsQualifications8+ years of experience in fleet operations, GSE, logistics, warehousing, equipment operations, or technical operations leadershipProven experience leading teams in fast-moving operational environmentsStrong leadership, organizational, and customer-facing skillsExperience with CMMS or maintenance management systemsAbility to drive performance through leadership, process improvement, and team development
