This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance, and optimizing working capital through effective collections and process management.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Process ManagementOversee the end-to-end O2C lifecycle, including billing, collections, cash application, dispute management, account reconciliations, and AR reporting and analyticsMonitor AR performance through reporting and analytics to identify trends, mitigate risks, and support data-driven decision-makingSupport monthly and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reportingReview and analyze contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment and ensure alignment with accounting policiesTeam Leadership & DevelopmentDevelop, mentor, and lead a high-performing AR team by establishing clear performance expectations, KPIs, and operational metricsDrive accountability across the AR organization to improve collection effectiveness, reduce aged receivables, and optimize working capitalDevelop future leaders through talent development, training, and mentoring initiativesContinuous Improvement & OptimizationDrive continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutionsLead automation and optimization initiatives across billing, collections, cash application, and reconciliationsEvaluate and implement technology solutions and system enhancements that improve productivity, accuracy, controls, and scalabilityLeverage data and performance metrics to identify root causes, measure results, and improve operational effectivenessStakeholder Collaboration & CompliancePartner with Finance, GTM, Legal, and other stakeholders to resolve issues, improve processes, and support new business initiativesEnsure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal control requirements while maintaining the integrity of AR processesSupport external audit requests and provide required documentation and analysisDemonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of employees and external stakeholders, including customers and vendorsExhibit professional conduct, maturity, and good judgment in all interactionsAdditional ResponsibilitiesAccept other responsibilities, projects, or activities reasonably related to the accounting or financial management objectives of the companyQualifications Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Accounting or Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from an accredited universityMinimum of 7 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, or Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within a high-volume, transaction-driven environmentStrong knowledge of the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) process, including billing, collections, cash application, dispute management, and account reconciliationsDemonstrated expertise in process improvement, automation, ERP systems optimization, and data-driven decision-makingProficiency in financial analysis, KPI development, performance reporting, and internal controlsProven track record of driving operational excellence and improving cash flow, scalability, and customer experience through cross-functional collaborationExcellent leadership, communication, and project management skills with the ability to build accountability and develop talentStrategic, results-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to drive change, influence stakeholders, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
