Senior Manager, AI Strategy & Adoption | Artificial Intelligence | Raleigh, NCGeorge Higginson is currently supporting a leading global life sciences organization that is looking to strengthen its internal AI capabilities and drive the practical adoption of artificial intelligence across the business.As part of this initiative, they are looking to hire an AI Strategy & Adoption Senior Manager based in Raleigh, NC, reporting directly to the Global Vice President of HR & IT.This is a highly visible, cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of AI, business strategy, technology and change management. You will act as a central AI partner across the organization, identifying high-value use cases, supporting the adoption of approved AI tools and helping teams move from experimentation into practical, repeatable AI usage.

Responsibilities

Act as a central AI champion and point of coordination across the organizationIdentify, develop and prioritize AI use cases aligned with business needs and strategic objectivesSupport the rollout and adoption of AI platforms including Microsoft Copilot, Salesforce Einstein, analytics and automation toolsPartner with teams across Commercial, Operations, HR, Finance, R&D and IT to identify opportunities for AIRun discovery sessions and translate business challenges into practical AI-enabled solutionsAdvise business leaders on where and how AI can create measurable valuePromote responsible and compliant AI adoption, including considerations around data, security, bias and model limitationsDevelop AI playbooks, use-case examples, guidance and other internal enablement materialsSupport AI training sessions, demonstrations and internal drop-in clinicsTrack AI adoption, business benefits and lessons learned, providing insights to senior leadershipStay current with developments in generative AI, automation and enterprise AI technologies

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experienceStrong understanding of generative AI, copilots and applied AI within a business environmentHands-on experience using AI tools within a professional or academic settingUnderstanding of prompts, data, model limitations, hallucinations, bias and explainabilityAbility to translate technical AI concepts into clear, practical language for non-technical stakeholdersExperience working cross-functionally and engaging with stakeholders across different business functionsStrong analytical, problem-solving and communication skillsComfortable working within a fast-moving environment where AI capabilities and priorities continue to evolve
