Location: London or Edinburgh – HybridEmployment: PermanentAre you an experienced Clinical Operations professional looking for an opportunity to shape how clinical development is delivered across a growing and highly innovative organisation?We are partnering with a leading UK medical research organisation focused on translating cutting-edge science into new treatments, diagnostics and technologies for patients.

As they continue to expand their clinical development capabilities, they are looking for a Senior Manager, Clinical Operations & Quality to help build and implement the frameworks, processes and systems supporting their clinical portfolio.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines strong hands-on Clinical Operations experience with a passion for operational excellence, quality and process improvement.The RoleYou will work across Clinical Development and wider cross-functional teams to establish scalable and effective ways of working across the organisation's clinical programmes.Key responsibilities will include:Developing and improving Clinical Operations frameworks, processes, SOPs, systems and toolsEstablishing consistent approaches to clinical governance and trial oversightSupporting the implementation of clinical quality standards and ensuring GCP complianceIdentifying opportunities for process improvement and operational excellenceWorking closely with CROs, academic institutions, clinical sites and external partnersDeveloping guidance, templates and training for clinical teamsSupporting inspection and audit readiness across clinical programmesDriving adoption of new processes and ways of working across cross-functional teamsAbout YouWe are looking for someone with:Strong experience within Clinical Operations / Clinical DevelopmentExperience delivering and overseeing clinical trials within biotech, pharma, CRO, academia or a research organisationDemonstrated experience developing or improving clinical processes, SOPs, frameworks or systemsStrong knowledge of ICH-GCP, clinical quality and research governanceExperience working with CROs and external clinical partnersStrong cross-functional stakeholder management and influencing skillsThe ability to operate strategically while remaining comfortable working hands-onExperience within rare disease, global health, complex clinical development or a smaller/building clinical organisation would be particularly valuable.Why Apply?This is a unique opportunity to move beyond individual study delivery and have a broader impact on how clinical development is run across an organisation.You'll join a mission-driven environment working at the intersection of scientific research, biotech, academia and clinical development, helping translate promising science into solutions that can make a genuine difference to patients.If you're an experienced Clinical Operations professional who enjoys building, improving and shaping how things are done, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today or get in touch for a confidential conversation to learn more.
