In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of residential projects, ensuring that they align with our ambitious goals while delivering exceptional value to our stakeholders.Your expertise will be pivotal in developing commercial strategies, optimizing financial performance, and managing contractual obligations. You will work closely with multiple teams to facilitate efficient project execution, analyze market conditions, and identify growth opportunities in the residential sector.ResponsibilitiesManage the commercial planning and execution of residential development projectsDevelop, implement, and monitor commercial strategies to drive profitability and ensure financial objectives are metConduct market research and feasibility studies to support project developmentPrepare and oversee project budgets, financial forecasting, and cash flowsNegotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholdersIdentify and manage risks related to commercial activities and project deliveryCollaborate with project teams to ensure alignment with project timelines and quality standardsLead and mentor junior commercial staff, cultivating a culture of excellence and professional growthRequirementsBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are a plusMinimum of 9-12 years of experience in commercial management, focusing on residential projectsMember of the Royal Institution of Chartered SurveyorsStrong financial acumen with expertise in budget management and financial analysisDemonstrated contract negotiation skills and experience managing complex agreementsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong leadership and team management skills with effective communication capabilitiesDetail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneouslyFamiliarity with commercial management software and project management tools
