Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are looking for a Senior Manager, Credit & Collections – APAC Logistics to lead credit management and accounts receivable collection activities across our Logistics businesses in Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore, this regional role will focus on improving cash flow, reducing overdue receivables, managing credit risk and strengthening working capital performance. You will work closely with Finance, Commercial, Operations and Global Logistics teams across APAC to resolve collection issues and drive timely recovery of outstanding receivables.Key AccountabilitiesLead credit and collections activities across all APAC Logistics entities, with a focus on collecting cash on time, reducing overdue receivables and improving DSO and working capital.Develop and maintain credit policies, controls and processes aligned with Global policies, including customer onboarding, credit assessments, credit limits and payment terms.Monitor customer credit exposure and recommend appropriate actions to manage emerging risks.Develop collection strategies based on customer risk, ageing, value and payment behaviour, with particular focus on the top 20 accounts and countries requiring greater AR support.Take ownership of complex or significantly overdue accounts, working closely with Finance, Commercial and Operations to identify issues and drive resolution.Coordinate with legal advisers or external collection agencies where formal recovery action is required.Lead regional reporting on AR ageing, overdue balances, DSO, collections, disputes, credit exposure and bad debt provisions, and drive actions based on trends and root causes.Support the implementation of the new Collections Operating Model across APAC in partnership with the Global team.Lead the APAC implementation of the Intercompany Netting Centre, including consolidation and review of intercompany AP/AR balances, settlement plans and dispute resolution.Connect with stakeholders across all APAC Logistics BUs and drive timely resolution of collection and intercompany issues.Qualifications, Experience & SkillsDegree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.Relevant experience in credit management, collections and accounts receivable, ideally within a regional or multi-country environment.Good understanding of credit risk, customer credit assessment, AR ageing, DSO, working capital and intercompany AP/AR settlements.Experience managing complex or high-value customer accounts and overdue debt.Experience within logistics or freight forwarding is highly preferred, ideally within a complex multinational environment.Proactive and independent, with the ability to take ownership and drive issues through to resolution.Commercially minded with strong analytical, problem-solving and credit judgement.Confident working across Finance, Commercial and Operations, including challenging and following up with stakeholders when needed.Able to connect the right stakeholders and find practical solutions when collections are blocked.Clear communicator with good attention to detail.Note: The job title in the advertisement serves the purpose of attracting talent and advertising the position.EEO StatementDP World is committed to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
