Senior Manager, Cyber Security

An established organisation is seeking a Senior Manager - Cyber Security to lead its cyber security function, strengthen resilience, and protect critical systems, information, and digital assets.This role combines strategic leadership with operational oversight, working closely with technology teams, business leaders, and external partners.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver the cyber security strategy and roadmapOversee security operations, threat monitoring, incident response, and recovery readinessLead cyber risk assessments, vulnerability management, and security improvement programmesMaintain security policies, standards, and controls aligned with business needs and applicable regulatory requirementsEmbed security into technology projects, cloud environments, and third-party engagementsReport cyber risks, incidents, and performance to senior leadershipLead and develop the cyber security team and promote security awareness across the organisationRequirementsWhat we're looking forSubstantial experience in cyber security, including leadership responsibility in a complex organisationStrong knowledge of security operations, cyber risk, governance, incident response, and cloud securityExperience applying recognised frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NISTThe ability to translate technical risks into clear business prioritiesStrong stakeholder management, communication, and team leadership skillsA relevant degree; certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred
