Senior Manager – Data Platform Service Delivery & OperationsLocation: Doha, QatarWe are working with a major organisation investing heavily in its enterprise Data & AI capabilities. As part of this growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Service Delivery & Operations leader to oversee the delivery, operational governance and ongoing support of mission-critical Data & AI platforms.This is an opportunity for a senior leader with a strong background in enterprise data platforms, managed services and operational excellence. The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing scalable operating models, leading multidisciplinary teams and ensuring the successful transition of complex platforms into stable production environments.Responsibilities:Lead the delivery and operational management of enterprise Data & AI platforms, ensuring reliable, secure and high-performing production services.Establish and enhance operational governance, release management, production readiness and service transition processes across multiple technology programmes.Develop and mature DataOps, MLOps and CI/CD capabilities to support scalable, enterprise-wide data and AI operations.Define managed service frameworks, support models, operational procedures, SLAs and service performance metrics.Oversee platform operations, deployment governance, operational risk, service performance and continuous improvement initiatives.Build strong relationships with executive stakeholders, delivery partners and technology vendors, acting as the primary operational lead throughout programme delivery.Lead governance meetings, operational reviews and executive reporting, providing clear visibility of service performance, risks and delivery progress.Manage multidisciplinary teams across delivery, engineering, operations, governance and support functions, driving capability development and operational excellence.Support workforce planning, recruitment and succession planning while fostering a high-performance culture across the function.Requirements:12+ years' experience delivering enterprise Data & AI platforms, managed services, technology operations or large-scale digital transformation programmes.Demonstrated experience leading DataOps, MLOps, platform operations or enterprise support functions within complex environments.Proven ability to establish and scale managed service capabilities, operational governance frameworks and production support models.Strong understanding of enterprise data platforms, data governance, CI/CD, operational readiness and release management.Experience managing production-critical environments involving multiple stakeholders, vendors and implementation partners.Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at executive level.Experience leading cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, AI, governance and service delivery.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline. Relevant certifications in ITIL, Cloud, DevOps or SRE would be advantageous.Fluency in English is essential.
