We are actively searching for a Financial Reporting Senior Manager to join our Finance Team in Abu Dhabi, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIEEstablish and maintain internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactionsResponsible to prepare business activity reports, financial forecasts, and assisting in preparation of annual budgets. This includes monthly management reporting deliverables on consolidated & standalone basis and yearly financial statements and developing insightful analysis and reporting to support decision making and monitor performanceEnsure the accuracy of financial data through supervising and maintaining the Company’s General Ledger accounts and ensure that all Sub-ledgers are reconciled and are well maintainedResponsible for Monthly and Annual Closing Processes, ensure all required accounting transactions are booked properly at the end of each period, and perform period-end account closing activities and reconciliationsResponsible to produce periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with IFRS and financial reporting standardsResponsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year; files periodical tax returnEnsure compliance with local regulations; coordinates with external and internal auditors and provides needed information for the auditPresent recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policiesProvide financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiationsPerform other related duties as necessary or assignedPrepare cost allocation models and recording appropriate entriesPrepare and maintain revenue models in line with applicable IFRS and recording appropriate entriesPerform ad hoc financial analysis and perform root cause investigations, as requested by managementAnalyse and interpreting financial information and data and providing concise explanations on trends and variancesServe as a subject matter expert on IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)Adhere to standard accounting standards and Company procedures.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIOBachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting from a reputed UniversityCPA or CA or its equivalent10+ years of experience in the same capacityPreferably experience in Real Estate organizations or reputed Audit FirmsProficiency in using ERP systems (Oracle)REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIESExcellent management and supervisory skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational, time management skills and attention to detailProficient in accounting and tax preparation softwareProficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar softwareProficient in excel and building financial modelsStrong understanding of IFRSExcellent practical knowledge of accounting/bookkeepingHighly organized and manage multiple priorities and assignments at the same timeAbility to solve complex accounting problems and errorsGreat Team player
