Senior Manager - FP&A

Job PurposeThe Manager – FP&A owns the organisation's financial planning and performance management cycle — budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting and profitability analysis. The role gives senior leadership a clear, timely and accurate view of business performance against budget and scorecard targets, identifies performance gaps and their drivers, and recommends the corrective actions needed to keep the business on track to achieve its annual financial targets.Key Responsibilities1. Financial Planning & Performance ReportingBudget planning and monitoring.Budget vs. actual performance analysis.P&L assessment.Balance sheet analysis.Capital employed / ROCE assessment.Cash-flow assessment.KPI and scorecard tracking.Identifying performance gaps against targets.Providing management with a clear view of where the business stands today.Forecasting the next 6–7 months through year-end.Assessing expected profitability and whether the business is on track to achieve its annual targets.Highlighting risks, opportunities, and corrective actions required.2. Performance Reporting FrameworkCurrent revenue, costs, EBITDA/profitability, cash position and other key KPIs. Comparison against the approved budget and scorecard targets.Variance analysis — what is driving over/under-performance.Forecast for the remaining 6–7 months and expected year-end position.Current profitability plus forecast profitability versus target.Clear recommendations to close performance gaps and improve results.3.
