We move fast, support each other, and celebrate wins together.If you’re looking to grow your career and make a real impact in a global team, Coda is the place for you.The OpportunityCoda is looking for a Senior Manager, Corporate Affairs to join our team in Singapore as we continue to scale our business and global presence.This is a senior role spanning corporate positioning, media relations, B2B and B2C communications, investor audiences, thought leadership, executive profiling and reputation.Reporting to the VP, Corporate Affairs, you will be a strong partner to Coda’s leaders, providing communications counsel and helping translate business priorities into clear, compelling positioning for the audiences that matter to our growth and reputation.You will work particularly closely with leaders across Commercial, Government Relations and Marketing, connecting what is happening across the business with the external industry and media conversations, identifying appropriate positioning opportunities. You will also partner with People & Talent and the CEO’s Office on priority internal communications and talent brand initiatives.We are looking for an established communications professional with strong existing relationships across leading financial, business and technology media, excellent judgement and exceptional writing skills. You should understand what makes a company and its leaders interesting, know what makes a strong story and be comfortable working directly with senior executives and journalists.The role is strategic and hands-on. You will shape positioning, originate stories and ideas, advise leaders, lead major communications programmes and drive how we use AI to make content production faster, smarter and more effective.What You'll Do Strengthen Coda’s corporate positioningShape and evolve Coda’s corporate narrative as our business grows across markets, products and audiencesDevelop clear positioning for corporate, B2B, B2C and investor audiences, grounded in Coda’s strategy, commercial priorities and position in the digital commerce ecosystemWork closely with Coda’s leaders, Commercial, Government Relations and Marketing to connect business priorities with the external conversations shaping our industryEnsure Coda has a clear and consistent point of view while adapting our story for different audiences, markets and moments Lead media relationsOwn proactive media relations for Coda, with a particular focus on financial, business and technology mediaBring and maintain strong existing relationships with senior journalists and editors across leading international and regional publications, particularly in Singapore and AsiaUse those relationships and strong editorial judgement to identify where Coda has a credible story and secure meaningful coverage, interviews and commentaryMaintain a strong pipeline of stories across corporate developments, commercial partnerships, financial and business milestones, technology, industry trends and executive commentaryLead media strategy around major announcements, including narrative development, pitching, briefings, interviews and follow-throughWork directly with journalists on complex or sensitive issues and provide sound counsel on when, where and how Coda should engage Position Coda with the audiences that matterDevelop communications tailored to Coda’s key external audiencesFor B2B audiences, work closely with Commercial and Marketing to strengthen Coda’s positioning with publishers, digital businesses, partners and the wider digital commerce ecosystemFor B2C audiences, identify stories and communications opportunities that strengthen the profile and relevance of Coda’s consumer businesses and propositionsFor investor and financial audiences, articulate Coda’s strategy, market position, performance and growth story with clarity and credibilityEnsure these narratives resonate with their respective audiences while reinforcing a consistent Coda story Be a strong partner to Coda’s leadersProvide clear, practical communications counsel to Coda’s senior leaders across important business, corporate and reputational mattersUnderstand their priorities, anticipate communications opportunities and risks, and bring an informed external perspective to their workShape distinctive external profiles for Coda’s leaders, with clear areas of authority and relevanceIdentify and secure high-quality opportunities across media, conferences, industry forums, social channels and other influential platformsPrepare executives for interviews and major external engagements, including messaging, speeches, presentations, talking points and briefing materialsBring strong judgement to which opportunities Coda and its leaders should pursue Advance Coda’s thought leadershipTurn Coda’s expertise, data and market experience into strong points of view on digital commerce, payments, gaming, technology and the policy environment shaping these sectorsLead the development of research, white papers, opinion pieces, media commentary, executive content and industry presentationsWork closely with Commercial and Government Relations to identify emerging trends and issues where Coda has something credible and differentiated to contributeEnsure our thought leadership has substance, adds something useful to the conversation and supports clear business and reputation objectives Lead AI-enabled content productionLead the Corporate Affairs workstream on using AI to streamline and improve content production across the functionIntroduce practical AI workflows across research, synthesis, drafting, content adaptation, media intelligence and distributionIdentify opportunities to automate repetitive work and increase the team’s capacity for higher-value strategic workStay current on emerging AI tools and capabilities and determine where they can materially improve the quality, speed and effectiveness of Corporate AffairsEstablish appropriate standards for accuracy, quality control and human oversightThis is an important part of the role.
