Senior Manager – Global Ocean Process Excellence

ResponsibilitiesDesign standardized, scalable operating models and future-state workflows across the global ocean networkConduct process discovery sessions with regional and country teams to diagnose bottlenecks, control weaknesses, and inefficienciesLead global transformation initiatives from initial scoping and prioritization through to regional deployment and adoptionFormulate comprehensive SOPs, work instructions, and implementation frameworks tailored to operational realitiesCoordinate regional process excellence managers to ensure full alignment with corporate standards and transformation goalsPartner with digital and IT teams to translate process designs into functional technical specs, user tools, and automated workflowsCollaborate with capability development teams to convert operational updates into actionable training content and user guidesTrack workstream progress, mitigate operational risks, and report on key process improvement metrics across active regionsEngage cross-functional stakeholders across Ocean Operations, IT, Finance, HR, and Commercial units to maintain organizational alignmentRequirementsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related disciplineMinimum 8 years of solid experience in ocean freight forwarding, logistics operations, or business transformationDemonstrate in-depth knowledge of ocean freight execution, documentation, milestone management, and operational workflowsShowcase a proven track record in leading process mapping, SOP development, and operational efficiency programsExhibit strong expertise in workshop facilitation, requirements gathering, and translating user feedback into practical process fixesLeverage practical familiarity with freight management systems, workflow automation, or tech-enabled logistics projectsExceptional interpersonal skills to engage effectively across diverse global teamsGood command of both spoken & written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
