Senior Manager Google Cloud (GCP)

Job Purpose:We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager Google Cloud (GCP) to lead the growth, presales, and delivery governance of Google Cloud services and solutions. The role is responsible for driving business development, achieving revenue and sales targets, managing strategic relationships with Google Cloud, and overseeing successful cloud transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong business leadership with deep Google Cloud expertise to deliver innovative cloud, data, and AI solutions for enterprise customers.Key Accountabilities:Own and achieve Google Cloud new sales bookings, revenue, and gross profit targets.Drive demand generation, account planning, and opportunity development in partnership with sales and account management teams.Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline while ensuring forecast accuracy and opportunity conversion.Lead presales activities including solution architecture reviews, proposal development, effort estimation, pricing, and customer presentations.Develop Google Cloud service offerings covering cloud adoption, migration, modernization, data transformation, resilience, and AI enablement initiatives.Manage strategic relationships with Google Cloud, including co-selling programs, partner engagement, funding opportunities, and technical enablement activities.Oversee delivery governance through delivery managers and technical leads to ensure successful implementations and customer satisfaction.Monitor project milestones, commercial dependencies, risks, and customer commitments to support revenue realization and profitability goals.Support executive-level customer engagements and strategic business discussions.Build and mentor presales and cloud engineering teams while ensuring effective resource utilization.Drive innovation and continuous improvement across Google Cloud solutions and services.Ensure alignment with organizational governance, quality standards, and delivery best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.Google Cloud certifications.Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification.Minimum Experience:+8 years of experience in cloud computing, infrastructure services, digital transformation, or technology consulting.Experience in cloud business leadership, presales leadership, or cloud practice management.Proven track record of achieving enterprise cloud sales, revenue, and profitability targets.Experience leading cloud migration, modernization, and digital transformation programs.Strong experience managing strategic cloud partnerships and enterprise customer engagements.Job-Specific Skills:Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architectures.Strong knowledge of Google Cloud adoption, migration, and modernization frameworks.Experience with cloud-native application development and modernization strategies.Familiarity with Google Cloud Partner Advantage programs and partner ecosystem.Ability to align Google Cloud solutions with customer business and technology objectives.Solution architecture and proposal development.Commercial modeling, pricing, and profitability management.Sales pipeline management and opportunity qualification.Strategic account planning and business growth initiatives.Contract negotiations and deal management.Revenue forecasting and performance management.Google Cloud Landing Zones and Enterprise Architecture.Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and Cloud Run.Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).Cloud Networking and Security.Data Analytics and Big Data solutions.Vertex AI and Generative AI services.Cloud Operations Suite (Monitoring & Observability).Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity solutions.Hybrid and Multi-Cloud architectures.Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer.Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer.Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer.PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certifications.TOGAF or other enterprise architecture certifications are an advantage.
