Head of Financial Reporting – DRC | LubumbashiWe are recruiting a Head of Financial Reporting – DRC for a leading international mining and resources group with significant operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo.This is a group-level finance role based in Lubumbashi, supporting the organization’s DRC entities and working closely with finance teams across the business. The role is not based at a mine site, although regular travel to operating sites within the DRC will be required.The position will take responsibility for the oversight and quality of financial reporting across the DRC entities, with a strong focus on OHADA compliance, statutory reporting and the management of differences between OHADA and IFRS reporting frameworks.Key responsibilities include managing the DRC financial reporting team, reviewing monthly OHADA trial balances and general ledgers, reviewing annual financial statements and management reports, overseeing the external audit process, supporting regulatory reporting, and contributing to Board and shareholder reporting.The successful candidate will also work closely with finance teams across the business to strengthen reporting processes, improve technical capability and support ongoing finance requirements.

DRC National Accounting qualificationStrong practical experience with OHADA reportingFluent French and proficient EnglishStrong financial reporting and technical accounting experienceExperience managing and developing finance teamsAbility to engage confidently with senior and executive stakeholdersJDE experience would be advantageous
