As we continue to strengthen and grow our businesses beyond 2026, developing our people and leadership capability remains central to our success.We have an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Senior Manager – HR Business Partnering to join our Human Resources Leadership Team.Reporting directly to the General Manager – Human Resources, this is one of the most senior roles within the HR function and will have significant responsibility for supporting BBG's businesses and branches across Papua New Guinea.Your OpportunityThis isn't a desk-bound corporate HR position.We are looking for a senior HR leader who enjoys being close to the business and close to our people.You will lead our HR Business Partnering function and work directly with General Managers, Business Unit Managers and Branch Managers to strengthen workforce planning, recruitment, performance, employee relations, leadership capability, talent development and Team Member engagement.A particular priority will be strengthening HR business partnering across our regional operations outside Port Moresby. For this reason, while the position may initially operate from Port Moresby, there is a strong possibility that the successful candidate will be regionally based, potentially in Lae.Applicants must therefore be genuinely willing to relocate outside Port Moresby and travel regularly throughout BBG's operations.What You'll Be Responsible ForYou will lead and develop our HR Business Partners; provide senior HR advice to operational leadership; drive workforce planning and talent strategies; strengthen recruitment and succession pipelines; manage complex employee-relations and performance matters; support organisational change and capability development; drive Team Member engagement initiatives including BELONG Connect; provide oversight of the Team Member Medical Program; strengthen HR governance and consistency across locations; and provide meaningful workforce insights to the GM HR and Leadership Team.Most importantly, you will help ensure that HR remains connected to the business and contributes directly to performance, capability and sustainable growth.Who We're Looking ForYou will be an experienced HR professional who has progressed into senior leadership and is comfortable operating across both strategic and operational HR. You should bring a relevant Bachelor's Degree, at least seven years of progressive HR experience, strong HR business partnering capability and demonstrated experience working with senior business leaders.Experience supporting multiple businesses, branches or geographically dispersed operations will be particularly valuable.You will also bring strong experience in workforce planning, recruitment and talent, employee relations, performance management, organisational development and people leadership.Above all, we are looking for someone who can lead, influence, coach, challenge constructively and deliver results.You must be willing to travel regularly and potentially relocate to Lae or another regional BBG location.Ready for Your Next Leadership Challenge?If you are an experienced HR leader looking for an opportunity to influence people strategy across one of PNG's established national business groups, we would like to hear from you.Please submit:Cover letter; Current comprehensive resume; Details of two professional referees; and Two reliable telephone contact numbers.
