Senior Manager – HSE - Hiring UAE Nationals

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – HSE (Occupational Health & Safety) to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of occupational health, safety, and environmental management practices across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement HSE strategies, policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.Lead occupational health and workplace safety programmes across operations.Ensure compliance with applicable UAE HSE legislation, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards.Conduct and oversee workplace risk assessments, hazard identification, and control measures.Monitor HSE performance, KPIs, incidents, near misses, and corrective actions.Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and preventive action plans.Drive safety audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.Develop emergency preparedness and response programmes.Establish occupational health and employee wellbeing initiatives.Provide HSE guidance and advisory support to senior management and operational teams.Manage HSE training, awareness, and behavioural safety programmes.Coordinate with regulatory authorities, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.Support contractor HSE management and ensure compliance with organizational standards.Prepare management reports, dashboards, risk assessments, and HSE performance updates.Lead and develop the HSE team while promoting a strong safety culture across the organization.Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and strengthen HSE governance and operational effectiveness.Candidate RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.Relevant professional HSE certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent preferred.Significant experience in Occupational Health & Safety / HSE, including leadership or management responsibility.Strong knowledge of UAE occupational health and safety regulations and international HSE standards.Experience developing and implementing HSE policies, risk-management frameworks, and safety-management systems.Strong incident investigation and root cause analysis capability.Experience managing audits, inspections, emergency response, and compliance programmes.Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills.Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive a strong safety culture.Key SkillsOccupational Health & Safety | HSE Management | EHS | Workplace Safety | Risk Assessment | Hazard Identification | Incident Investigation | Root Cause Analysis | HSE Audits | Safety Management Systems | ISO 45001 | NEBOSH | IOSH | OSHA | Emergency Response | Contractor Safety | Regulatory Compliance | HSE Governance | Safety Training | Behavioural Safety | Occupational Health | HSE Reporting | HSE KPI Management | Safety Culture | Environmental Management | Leadership | Stakeholder Management
