Position: Senior Manager - Interior Design (Emirati)Location: DubaiClient: Well-known holding companyAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Interior Design to lead and oversee interior design activities across a portfolio of premium real estate developments. The successful candidate will ensure projects achieve their design, quality, budget, and schedule objectives while maintaining exceptional standards of creativity, functionality, and execution.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee interior design projects from concept development through project completion.Review and approve consultant design submissions to ensure alignment with project vision, design guidelines, and quality standards.Safeguard design integrity and ensure delivered products meet approved design intent.Conduct technical and commercial reviews of design packages and drive value engineering initiatives to achieve target budgets.Manage consultant appointments, design procurement activities, and project execution processes.Review and develop project-specific design briefs aligned with development objectives.Monitor project progress, identify design risks, and provide regular updates to senior management.Coordinate closely with development, architecture, engineering, procurement, and construction teams.Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, authorities, and key stakeholders.Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements, policies, procedures, and industry regulations.Stay current with industry trends, innovative materials, sustainability initiatives, and emerging technologies.RequirementsQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.Master's Degree is preferred.LEED AP or other internationally recognized design certifications are advantageous.ExperienceMinimum 8-10 years of experience in real estate development, interior design consultancy, or architectural environments.Proven experience managing design teams throughout concept, design development, and implementation phases.Experience delivering residential, hospitality, retail, or commercial developments.Strong track record in managing consultants and multidisciplinary stakeholders.Technical SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong knowledge of interior design methodologies, specifications, and construction processes.Understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP coordination.Project management, planning, scheduling, and risk management capabilities.Knowledge of value engineering and cost optimization principles.Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
