Senior Manager – International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI)

We are partnering with a leading insurer in the UAE to appoint an Senior Manager – International Private Medical Insurance. This is a newly created role within the business, leading the build-out of its IPMI proposition across multiple markets.About the roleYou will own the strategy and commercial growth of the international health insurance portfolio, with a mandate that spans new business acquisition, client retention, and the development of distribution across the region. This is a build role, you will be shaping the proposition and the channel strategy rather than inheriting an established book.What you'll doDevelop and execute the strategic plan to grow the IPMI portfolio across new business and retentionIdentify new markets, distribution channels and strategic partnerships to drive market penetrationBuild and manage relationships with brokers, intermediaries and corporate clientsExpand distribution across digital platforms, bancassurance and corporate partnershipsAnalyse market trends, competitor activity and client needs to shape business developmentMonitor sales performance and KPIs, driving accountability across the sales teamEnsure operational excellence across policy issuance, premium collection and customer servicingWhat you'll bring10+ years in International Private Medical Insurance, with a strong focus on distributionSolid understanding of global health insurance markets, regulation and the competitive landscapeA proven broker and intermediary network in the regionStrong analytical and decision-making ability, and excellent stakeholder managementBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, Finance or related; MBA advantageousInsurance certification (ACII, AIIK, FLMI or equivalent) preferredArabic language skills are an advantage
