This role will oversee production planning, purchasing, inventory, and warehouse operations in a cGMP-regulated environment.If you have experience in materials management, production planning, and team leadership, we encourage you to apply!Full-time OnsiteDirect HirePay Rate: DoE Job purposeThis role manages and optimizes the production planning process assuring FDA, cGMP, and SOP compliance. Manages Warehouse operations assuring timely shipping and receipt of good with cGMP compliance.Duties and responsibilitiesManage the production planning processSlot production run and ensure enough raw material inventory is available through the use of the MRPOversee purchasing all materials, supplies, capital equipment and services for company-wide requirements; maintain high quality and identifies cost saving opportunitiesSelect, develop and use Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and other analytical tools to manage inventory levels, ensure material availability and minimize overall inventory levelsEvaluate current MRP/ERP systems for forecasting material requirements and implement as necessaryWork with the Development Group to identify material needs for new product manufacturingSet appropriate specifications and inspection proceduresManage storage requirements throughout the site and set up and monitor systems for material workflowsManage tracking of inventory flows for the siteEnsure consistent use of Standard Operating ProceduresEnsure warehouse meets all cGMP standardsManage vendor relations through consistent communicationParticipate in audits as requiredHire, train, manage, and motivate buyer and warehouse staffOther duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum 4-6 years related experience supervising non-exempt and exempt employees requiredHigh School Diploma or GED required; B.S. preferredMinimum 10-12 years related experiences requiredProven, effective management of production schedulesProven, effective management of inventory flows and levelsAbility to plan and anticipate needs of production and other departmentsAbility to work under limited supervision, drawing on previous experience, good judgment and standard proceduresStrong understanding of cGMP standards and requirementsStrong computer skills and competency with Microsoft Office, particularly excel; working knowledge of SBT or other Inventory Management SystemsStrong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to manage staff and negotiate with vendorsExcellent organization skills and the ability to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workloadOur client offers a competitive compensation package as well as an excellent benefits package for eligible candidates.
