Senior Manager - Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

Role Overview -We are seeking an experienced Procurement Consulting professional with 10-15 years of experience supporting Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Technology and Healthcare clients. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and procurement transformation, along with a strong track record of delivering cost optimization and value creation initiatives within a consulting environment.Key Responsibilities -Lead end-to-end procurement, strategic sourcing, and transformation initiatives for Pharma, Life Sciences, and Healthcare clients, delivering measurable business value. Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, focusing on supplier performance, risk mitigation, contract compliance, and continuous improvement. Support business development: responding to RFPs, creating sales proposals, identifying leads, client demos, and presentations etc. Manage client relationships, self-driven, results oriented, strong leadership and exceptional communication skills Manage business process mapping, process re-engineering, and gap analysis, while ensuring best fit solution Recommend best practices to clients to streamline and standardize S2P processes. Lead commercial and contractual negotiations to secure optimal pricing, commercial terms, service levels, and business outcomes. Manage the contract lifecycle, including NDAs, MSAs, service agreements, and supplier contracts. Drive procurement excellence, business transformation, process re-engineering, and change management initiatives, while influencing and aligning key stakeholders. Develop and maintain strong client relationships through a self-driven, results-oriented approach, demonstrating leadership and exceptional communication skills. Required Experience -10-15 years of experience in Procurement or Procurement Consulting. Strong domain expertise in Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Technology, Healthcare Services, or Healthcare Technology. Preferred Qualifications -Experience with procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle Procurement, SAP MM, Jaggaer, or similar tools.
