S&B Nice Food Valley Ltd. is looking for Senior Manager - Product Development (PD), Quality Assurance(QA) & Cost AnalysisJob Description / ResponsibilityLead and oversee end-to-end Production Planning, Operations, and Process Management to ensure efficient, safe and uninterrupted production in line with market demand and business objectives.Develop and implement production schedules and capacity plans based on market requirements, available resources and production capacity, ensuring timely production and distribution of finished products.Drive cost-effective product development, production operations and cost analysis by reviewing recipes, formulations, process flow charts, manpower utilization and raw/packaging material consumption to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.Lead new product development, recipe formulation, optimization and commercialization, including planning, execution, process improvement and development of innovative products in coordination with relevant departments.Conduct recipe and process optimization with a focus on product quality, cost efficiency, production feasibility, nutritional requirements and market expectations.Manage Nutrition Facts analysis and preparation, chemical composition analysis and shelf-life studies to support product development, quality assurance and regulatory requirements.Establish, maintain and improve Product Quality Standards and Quality Control Programs to ensure consistent quality, safety and compliance across FMCG products.Ensure effective implementation of HACCP, GMP, ISO and Food Safety Management System requirements throughout production and related operations.Implement and monitor Hygiene, Sanitation and Food Safety procedures across day-today production activities and ensure compliance with established safety standards.Ensure proper planning, control and utilization of raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods, maintaining appropriate stock levels to meet production and market requirements.Monitor production performance, manpower productivity and operational efficiency while maintaining optimum employee levels and controlling overhead and material costs in line with annual budgetary objectives.Lead team management and employee development, including manpower allocation, performance monitoring, motivation, supervision, identification of training needs and development of employees according to their skills and capabilities.Conduct training and development programs for Production and Quality Control personnel on manufacturing processes, analytical methods, laboratory/production instruments, food safety, GMP and workplace safety.Identify, investigate and document production and quality deviations, determine root causes and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.Develop and maintain comprehensive production, quality, inventory and operational documentation, including regulatory inspection records, Certificates of Analysis (COA), complaint investigations and related compliance documents.Prepare and submit daily and monthly production reports, including production quantity, local and export sales-related production information, raw material and packaging material receiving/stock reports, and finished goods stock and distribution reports for management review.Ensure compliance with applicable BSTI, US-FDA, food safety and other regulatory requirements, including national and export market standards.Provide direction and technical input for new packaging and label design, including pack specifications, measurements, necessary text corrections and national/export labeling compliance.Coordinate with Marketing and other cross-functional teams to identify market opportunities, understand customer requirements and support the development and launch of new products.Lead and coordinate new projects and product development initiatives, ensuring proper planning, execution, documentation and timely completion.Maintain effective communication and coordination with Top Management, Marketing, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, clients, team members, government organizations and regulatory agencies regarding operational, technical, quality and compliance matters.Support the organization in addressing customer and product complaints in Bangladesh and international markets, including investigation, documentation, corrective action and regulatory communication where required.Ensure that production and operational activities are aligned with company policies, business objectives, quality standards, food safety requirements and regulatory expectations.Provide regular operational updates, technical recommendations and cost-saving proposals to Top Management/Business Unit Head based on production, process, quality and resource-utilization analysis.Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by Top Management in support of organizational goals and business requirements.Educational RequirementsMaster of Science (MSc) in Food NutritionM.
