About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Product Management to take ownership of the product backlog and drive day-to-day product decisions for a specific product or product area.In this role, you will translate the product strategy and roadmap established by product leadership into a clear, prioritized, and actionable backlog. You will work closely with a dedicated Scrum team, collaborating with Engineering, Design, Business, and other key stakeholders to deliver meaningful product features that address real customer needs and create measurable value.This is a hands-on, team-embedded role where you will work closely with the engineering team, continuously refine and prioritize the backlog, engage with users and stakeholders, and make informed decisions on what to build next in alignment with the product vision and business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn, prioritize, and continuously groom the product backlog for your product/team, ensuring it reflects customer needs and business priorities.Act as the single point of contact for the Scrum team on product-related questions, clarifying requirements and resolving ambiguity quickly.Participate actively in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.Translate the product vision and roadmap into executable sprint-level and release-level plans.Validate delivered increments against acceptance criteria and accept or reject completed work each sprint.Gather and synthesize input from customers, support teams, sales, and internal stakeholders to inform backlog priorities.Define and track feature-level success metrics (adoption, usage, satisfaction) and feed learnings back into the backlog.Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to ensure user stories are grounded in validated user needs and usable designs.Communicate roadmap, priorities, and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders, managing expectations on scope and timelines.Support release planning and go-to-market coordination for features owned by your team.Ensure features meet applicable quality, security, and compliance requirements before release.Contribute to continuous improvement of team practices and product delivery processes.Educational QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification is a strong plus.Experience & Skills4–8 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role within an Agile/Scrum delivery environment.Demonstrated experience owning and managing a product backlog for at least one product, feature area, or platform.Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and experience working directly within a Scrum team.Strong skills in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and grooming a backlog for clarity and delivery-readiness.Good analytical skills, with comfort using data and customer feedback to make prioritization calls.Clear, confident communicator able to work directly with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders day-to-day.Comfortable balancing shifting priorities and making pragmatic trade-off decisions under time constraints.Familiarity with backlog/Agile tooling (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally) is expected.
