Senior Manager – QHSE & Food Safety | KSARiyadhJOB SCOPE The Manager – QHSE & Food Safety (KSA) leads and unifies Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Food Safety, and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) under a single operational vertical. Responsible for operations across 22+ cities in Saudi Arabia, this role establishes and executes an integrated Quality, Safety, EHS, and Compliance management framework.The position acts as the strategic and operational link in KSA, collaborating with KSA Functional Heads to drive full compliance, while partnering with Regional MEA leadership and Global HQ to adapt and deploy world-class standards and best practices across all airport lounges and hospitality facilitiesJOB RESPONSIBILITIES Integrated Vertical Leadership (QA, QC, Food Safety & EHS)Integrate QA (policy & governance), QC (operational verification), Food Safety, and EHS (Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental sustainability) into a unified operational vertical across 22+ cities in KSA.Formulate and execute integrated management systems in alignment with ISO 22000 (Food Safety), HACCP, ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management).Oversee daily QC inspections, food sample testing, kitchen hygiene standards, and station-level EHS safety walks across all units.Cross-Functional & Stakeholder CollaborationIn-Country Collaboration: Partner with KSA Functional Heads (Operations, Culinary, Supply Chain, Human Capital, Projects, and Maintenance) to ensure full operational compliance and swift execution of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).Regional & Global Alignment: Actively engage with MEA Regional and Global HQ Quality & EHS leaders to share insights, standardize KPIs, and adopt global best practices.Regulatory Authority Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for KSA regulatory and government bodies (SFDA, Municipalities, Civil Aviation/GACA, Ministry of Labor) and external certification auditors.Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) ManagementDevelop and maintain EHS risk assessments, emergency response protocols, incident reporting, and hazard identification programs across all KSA lounges and central kitchens.Conduct ongoing safety audits to ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law, civil defense mandates, and airport authority health & safety regulations.Lead environmental sustainability initiatives, including waste management, energy conservation, and safe hazardous waste/chemical disposal across KSA sites.Pre-Openings, Design & Network ExpansionEstablish unified QA, QC, Food Safety, and EHS opening checklists and quality frameworks for all new lounge and airport hospitality developments across KSA.Work with Project and Culinary teams during layout design to ensure facility compliance with local legislation, ergonomic safety, EHS standards, and HACCP flow requirements.Conduct operational readiness reviews and conduct mandatory safety, hygiene, and EHS training for Lounge Managers and Persons in Charge (PICs).Audit Management & Continuous ImprovementDirect internal audit schedules covering QA/QC, Food Safety, and EHS compliance across all 22+ cities.Analyze operational audit metrics, guest feedback, and EHS incident reports to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.Introduce digital auditing technologies, automated temperature tracking, and real-time EHS monitoring tools across all KSA locationsJOB REQUIREMENTS Education & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree in food science, Quality Management, Hospitality Management, Environmental Health, or a related field.Experience: Minimum 6–8 years of experience leading QA, QC, Food Safety, and EHS operations in hospitality, airline catering, retail F&B, or multi-site operationsMulti-Site Scope: Proven experience managing compliance across multiple cities/locations, ideally within Saudi Arabia (KSA) or the GCC regionKey CertificationsFood Safety: Certified ISO 22000 / HACCP Lead Auditor or Internal AuditorEHS: NEBOSH IGC / Award or ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor certificationRegulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of KSA local regulations (SFDA, Municipal/Balady rules, Civil Defense, GACA/Airport Safety guidelines)Core Competencies & SkillsStrong leadership and cross-functional stakeholder management skillsProficiency in digital audit tools and QA/EHS management softwareStrong communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage
