About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Manager, Site Supply Chain to lead executional supply chain operations at a high-complexity aerospace and defense manufacturing company. This role is responsible for procurement, materials planning, inventory control, logistics, and overall material flow supporting both electronics and energetics programs. Reporting to the Senior Director of Supply Chain, this leader will manage a multi-layered organization of managers and supervisors while working within a matrixed environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong end-to-end supply chain experience, proven leadership of leaders, and the ability to drive operational performance in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop teams across Purchasing, Materials Planning, and LogisticsBuild a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementOwn site-level execution of procurement, planning, inventory, and logistics operationsEnsure material availability and seamless flow from suppliers through production to customer deliveryOversee procurement execution across $100M+ in annual spend within low-volume, high-mix aerospace and defense programsPartner with Category Management and Supplier Development to align sourcing strategies with operational executionServe as the escalation point for supplier delivery, quality, and performance issuesLead demand and supply planning processes aligned with production and program schedulesImprove forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, material availability, and inventory accuracyOversee inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing, and material handlingEnsure safe and compliant handling of regulated materials, including energeticsPartner with Quality, Compliance, Operations, Engineering, Supplier Development, and Category Management to drive program executionInfluence cross-functional teams and stakeholders within a matrixed organizationEnsure compliance with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, AS9100, CPSR, DOT, IATA, ATF, and internal policiesSupport audits and maintain procurement system integrityLead initiatives to improve on-time delivery, cost, inventory turns, and overall supply chain performanceImplement Lean practices, visual management, KPI routines, and continuous improvement initiativesSupport site and enterprise-level supply chain transformation effortsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field10+ years of supply chain experience within aerospace, defense, or highly regulated manufacturing5-7+ years of experience managing managers or leading multi-layered organizationsStrong end-to-end experience across procurement, materials planning, inventory, and logisticsProven ability to lead teams through complex operational challengesExperience working within a matrixed organization and influencing across functionsStrong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to drive accountability, operational performance, and continuous improvementPreferred QualificationsMBA or advanced degreeCPSM, CPIM, PMP, Lean, or Six Sigma certificationExperience with Lean process improvement, problem solving, and process designExperience with IFS or similar ERP systemsExperience supporting transitions from R&D and new product introduction into productionBackground in complex machining, electronics, energetics, or other highly regulated manufacturing environmentsExperience with supply chain transformation and KPI-driven operating systemsWhy Join?Lead a critical, site-level supply chain organization supporting advanced aerospace and defense programsManage and develop a multi-layered team with broad operational responsibilityInfluence procurement, planning, logistics, inventory, and supplier performance across the full supply chainWork in a highly regulated environment supporting mission-critical productsDrive measurable improvements in delivery, cost, inventory, and operational performancePartner with engineering, operations, quality, sourcing, and supplier development teams across the organizationInterested in learning more?
