WE’RE HIRINGSenior Manager – Software Development (.NET)Location: Karachi | Full-TimeKey ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor development & IT teams and manage end-to-end software projects.Design and develop scalable web applications, services, APIs, and real-time data pipelines.Modernize and maintain legacy applications, legacy databases, and outdated technology stacks.Plan and execute legacy application and database migration, modernization, integration, and performance optimization.Drive AI-assisted development, automation, and intelligent software solutions.Integrate AI APIs, STT/NLP, predictive analytics, and third-party APIs.Manage Agile/Scrum processes, sprint planning, resource allocation, and disaster recovery.Ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable architecture through code reviews, development standards, and best practices.Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical solutions, project roadmaps, and delivery strategies.RequirementsBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.7–10+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role.Advanced experience with C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Web Forms, SQL Server, JavaScript/jQuery, and Bootstrap.Strong hands-on experience working with legacy applications, legacy databases, and older technology stacks is mandatory.Proven experience in legacy system modernization, database migration, application migration, and integration with modern platforms.Strong knowledge of SQL Server database architecture, performance tuning, optimization, stored procedures, and database migration.Experience with AI APIs, prompt engineering, machine learning, automation, and AI-assisted software development.Strong understanding of system integration, REST APIs, third-party APIs, and enterprise applications.Strong technical leadership, project management, team management, and stakeholder coordination skills.Experience in designing secure, scalable, highly available, and maintainable software architectures.PreferredExperience modernizing large-scale enterprise applications.Experience migrating old/legacy databases to modern database platforms.Experience integrating legacy systems with modern .NET Core/.NET, APIs, cloud, AI, or microservices-based solutions.Strong problem-solving and architectural decision-making skills.Apply Now: Send your CV to careers@express.com.pk
