For the Good of TomorrowDubai Holding Investment is looking to hire a Senior Manager – Technology Transformation role reporting to the Executive Director – Portfolio Operations and Intelligence. The job holder is responsible for identifying, developing and delivering technology, data and digital transformation initiatives across DHI, and for turning the technology transformation agenda into solutions that are deployed, adopted and deliver measurable value.The role holder identifies and defines opportunities, builds the business case for each initiative, and leads delivery through internal technology functions and delivery partners. Initiatives are held to their intended outcomes, adoption and benefits, not go-live alone. This is a hands-on role. The role holder personally designs, builds and deploys data, analytics, automation and AI solutions, and coordinates multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Transformation Strategy & RoadmapProvide analysis and recommendations to help develop DHI’s technology, data and digital transformation agenda, for review by the Executive Director – Portfolio Operations and Intelligence.Develop and maintain roadmaps for assigned initiatives, sequencing activity by value, dependency, risk and readiness.Assess current technology and data capability within assigned business areas and identify gaps and the capability needed.Track emerging technology, data and AI developments, and turn the relevant ones into practical use cases for DHI.Lead discovery and solution design with DHI departments, running workshops that define the opportunity, scope and intended outcome of each initiative.Investment Case & Value QuantificationIdentify opportunities to improve revenue, productivity, customer experience, operational performance and decision-making through data, analytics, automation and AI.Develop business cases for assigned initiatives, quantifying benefit, cost, feasibility and risk.Define value hypotheses, success metrics, adoption targets and value realisation frameworks for each initiative.Prioritize initiatives on value, feasibility, risk and strategic alignment, and make recommendations to the Executive Director.Track and report benefits realised against the approved business case.Hands-On Technical DeliveryDesign, develop, deploy and maintain data and analytical solutions, dashboards, automation solutions and AI-enabled products.Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes and data transformation workflows.Write and optimize SQL, Python and related analytical code.Develop prototypes, proofs of concept and minimum viable products to test feasibility before committing to full investment.Troubleshoot technical issues and continuously improve the performance, scalability and reliability of solutions.Data, Analytics, AI & Product OwnershipOwn the lifecycle of data, analytics, automation and AI products, from concept through deployment and adoption.Define product vision, user requirements, roadmaps, backlogs and delivery priorities. Translate business challenges into technical requirements, user stories and solution designs.Develop management reporting, KPI frameworks and decision-support solutions that give leadership a reliable view of performance.Conduct exploration, diagnostic and predictive analysis. Design and implement automation, machine learning, generative AI and advanced analytics use cases, assessing business value, data readiness, technical feasibility and associated risks.Drive user adoption, product enhancements and continuous improvementTransformation DeliveryLead end-to-end delivery of assigned transformation initiatives, managing scope, schedule, cost and quality.Comply with Group Technology governance frameworks, architecture standards, stage gates and change controls. Prepare initiative submissions for the relevant governance forums.Ensure initiatives meet cybersecurity, data protection, privacy and AI governance requirements.Identify delivery risks, dependencies and issues early. Resolve them within the initiative and escalate material matters to the Executive Director.Ensure solutions are designed for adoption, supportability and scale. Manage the transition to run, with ownership and the support model agreed.Vendor & Partner ManagementManage technology vendors, systems integrators and implementation partners on assigned initiatives day to day.Monitor partner delivery against contracted outcomes, quality and timelines, and escalate commercial or delivery issues to the Executive Director.Contribute market insight to vendor evaluation and solution selection.Stakeholder Engagement & Change AdoptionBuild effective working relationships with DHI department leads, functional teams, architects, engineers and analysts to gather input and secure alignment.Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions and solution design activities. Explain technical concepts in clear commercial terms for non-technical stakeholders.Plan and deliver change enablement and user adoption activities, so deployed capability is used and delivers value.Report progress, risks, recommendations, insights and realised value to senior stakeholders.Who we are looking for:6 – 8 years of experience in technology transformation, data product development, applied AI, technology consulting or data-enabled transformation.Demonstrated experience personally taking a problem through to a production-grade product.Demonstrated experience taking initiatives from business case through delivery, adoption and realised benefits.Proven experience working directly with senior business stakeholders, cross-functional technical teams and delivery partners.Experience in the GCC / Dubai market, and exposure to investment or portfolio company environments, preferred.Education / Professional Certifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, AI, Mathematics, Statistics, Business or another relevant quantitative discipline.Advanced degree, such as an MBA, preferred.Relevant cloud, data platform, AI or programme management certifications advantageous.Technical Competencies:Technology, data and digital transformation planning and roadmap developmentBusiness case development, value quantification and benefits realizationData platforms such as Databricks, Azure AI Foundry, Spark, Hive or Palantir FoundryProficiency in Python, SQL, PL/SQL, Spark and similar languagesData modelling, design patterns and highly scalable, secure analytical solution designAPIs, orchestration, scheduling and integration patterns across structured and unstructured data and common file formatsBuilding and evaluating analytics, automation, machine learning and generative AI prototypes and productsData governance, metadata, lineage, master data, data quality, information security, privacy and responsible AIProgramme and product delivery, including agile and hybrid methodsVendor and partner delivery managementChange enablement, adoption and user engagementAs much as we would be delighted to entertain all applicants, due to the high volumes of applications, only successful applicants will be contacted within 14 business days.
