Senior Manager, Global Trade Compliance – AmericasWashington, DC Metro Area | HybridThe OpportunityAn established multinational organisation is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Trade Compliance to play a key role within its Americas trade compliance function.This is a high-visibility opportunity to take ownership of U.S. Customs, imports and tariffs, strengthen existing processes, and help shape the continued development of the regional function.What You'll OwnLead U.S. and regional trade compliance, with a strong focus on Customs and importsStrengthen trade compliance processes, controls and proceduresOversee customs broker relationships and performanceDrive tariff mitigation and duty optimisation initiativesLead compliance risk assessments, audits and corrective actionsDrive cross-functional compliance and process improvement projectsPartner with stakeholders across supply chain, logistics, finance, tax and legalProvide guidance and leadership within the regional trade compliance teamWhat You BringSignificant experience in U.S. trade compliance and CustomsStrong knowledge of U.S. Customs and import regulationsExperience managing customs brokers and complex import operationsProven ability to drive compliance and process improvement initiativesStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsLicensed Customs Broker (LCB) highly advantageousPeople leadership experience beneficial, but not essentialIndustry background is flexible.
