Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are currently recruiting for a highly experienced Senior Master Technician to join an exciting automotive project in Europe.This opportunity is suited to an experienced automotive professional with strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic expertise, capable of diagnosing and resolving complex vehicle faults while supporting other technicians within the workshop.Key Responsibilities:▪️ Carry out advanced diagnostics and complex fault finding▪️ Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults▪️ Complete mechanical and electrical repairs to manufacturer standards▪️ Diagnose and repair engine, transmission and drivetrain systems▪️ Work with modern electronic systems▪️ Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment and software to identify faults▪️ Interpret diagnostic trouble codes, technical data and wiring diagrams▪️ Carry out testing of sensors, actuators, control modules and electrical circuits▪️ Investigate recurring or difficult technical faults and identify root causes▪️ Carry out vehicle system checks following repairs▪️ Support vehicle rework, rectification and technical problem-solving activities▪️ Assist and guide technicians with complex repairs and diagnostic procedures▪️ Ensure repairs are completed correctly and efficiently to a high standard▪️ Follow manufacturer procedures, technical documentation and quality requirements▪️ Complete accurate repair and diagnostic documentation▪️ Maintain high standards of health, safety and workshop organisationRequirements:▪️ Extensive experience as a Master Technician, Senior Technician or Diagnostic Technician▪️ Strong background in automotive diagnostics and fault finding▪️ Excellent mechanical and electrical knowledge▪️ Experience working with modern diagnostic equipment▪️ Confident diagnosing complex electrical and electronic faults▪️ Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation▪️ Relevant automotive qualifications/certifications▪️ Previous experience supporting or mentoring other technicians is highly desirable▪️ Must have the right to work in Europe▪️ Good level of English▪️ Professional, reliable and able to work independentlyThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Master Technician looking to work on a high-level automotive project in Europe.
