Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

I am representing several clients in the La county area who are creating exciting technology within advanced manufacturing and robotics. They are looking to hire Senior Mechanical Engineers with strong, hands-on mechanical design experience.Ideal backgrounds include:Robotics & automation3D printing / additive manufacturingCapital equipmentComplex electromechanical systemsMotion control / kinematicsThey are particularly interested in engineers who have designed complex mechanical systems from the ground up and taken hardware through development, prototyping, testing, and production.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience5+ years of mechanical engineering / product development experienceStrong proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD softwareProven experience designing complex mechanical systems and assemblies from the ground upExperience with robotics, automation, 3D printing, capital equipment, or complex electromechanical systemsUnderstanding of motion systems, mechanisms, kinematics, and/or precision mechanical designStrong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing processesExperience taking designs through prototyping, testing, iteration, and productionAbility to work closely with electrical, controls, software, manufacturing, and other cross-functional engineering teamsCompensationUp to $200K salary + Equity, depending on experienceComprehensive benefitsRelocation assistanceA highly collaborative engineering environmentSignificant technical ownership and exposure to senior technical leadershipIf you’re a mechanical engineer in the LA area—or interested in relocating—and your background aligns with the above, please apply or reach out to me directly.
