We are shaping the future of smart cities and public safety with cutting-edge AI technologies.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldsMinimum 5 years of experience in mechanical designProficient in SolidWorks (Catia and Siemens NX are a plus)Experience with PDM/PLM systems and change management processesStrong knowledge of plastic injection, injection molds, and sheet metal formingExperience in thermal design and thermal management of electronic enclosures; knowledge of CFD/thermal simulation tools is a plus.Good understanding of GD&T, metrology inspection methods, and RPS pointsExperience in exterior electronic enclosure designAdvanced level of EnglishStrong communication, coordination, and time management skillsExperience working in cross-functional projects and FMEA teamsAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving skillsWilling to travel when requiredJob DescriptionPerform 3D mechanical design and prepare 2D drawings in accordance with DFM/DFA principlesCreate and manage product BOMs and coordinate ERP integrationLead and coordinate design activities throughout the product development lifecycleTrack project timelines and manage supplier deliverables according to the Gantt planConduct design reviews and ensure compliance with technical specifications and standardsPerform or support thermal analysis and thermal validation activities to ensure reliable product operation under specified environmental conditions.Prepare and participate in design verification and validation testsProvide technical leadership in new product development and commissioning projectsCoordinate closely with suppliers and manufacturing partnersSupport production teams in continuous improvement and efficiency initiativesDrive design simplification and lean-oriented improvement activitiesFor information on how we process personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.Legal - Ekin Smart City Technologies
