Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join BOBST Korea’s R&D team!We are looking for an experienced mechanical design engineer who can independently analyze technical issues, develop practical design solutions, and contribute to new product development for complex industrial machinery.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldMinimum 8 years of hands-on mechanical design experience in industrial machinery, automation equipment, machine tools, or similar equipmentStrong proficiency in 3D mechanical design and 2D drawing using 3DX tools and AutoCADExperience in designing and improving mechanical modules, structures, drive mechanisms, and machine componentsAbility to independently analyze complex technical issues and develop robust design solutions considering manufacturing and cost constraintsExperience with GD&T, tolerance analysis, technical drawing review, and Design FMEAExperience in new product development, prototype build, testing, validation, and engineering change management (ECO/ECN)Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and self-management skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with Electrical, Software, Production, Quality, Procurement, suppliers, and global R&D teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience with printing, packaging machinery, FFG, folder-gluers, die-cutters, or similar complex industrial equipmentAbility to read technical documents and specifications in EnglishEffective English communication skills for collaboration with global teamsIf you are interested in developing and improving high-precision industrial machinery within a global engineering environment, we would be happy to hear from you.
