Qualification:Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering8 yearsSemiconductor capital equipment experienceUGNX experience, Will consider candidates with Solidworks, Creo, Inventor as wellUnderstanding of material properties and machining rules of thumb for aluminum, plastics and brittle materials (Ceramics, quartz, etc.)Vacuum environment design experience (O-ring, vacuum fittings, helium leak check)Finite Element analysis (Thermal and Structural)Understanding of heating and cooling systemsTolerance stack analysisReliability testingResponsibilities:Design next generation semiconductor etch equipmentPerform stress analysis to validate designsWork with outside vendors to have parts fabricatedPerform in house testing on partDesign vacuum chambers
