Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to oversee the site execution of mechanical works, with a focus on pipelines, valves, and valve chambers. The role is responsible for ensuring that works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality requirements, and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and oversee mechanical construction activities and monitor progress against the project schedule.Supervise pipeline installation and the construction and installation of valves and valve chambers.Review construction drawings and specifications, and resolve technical issues arising during execution.Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, other disciplines, and the consultant to maintain an efficient workflow.Monitor material availability, inspections, and work quality; address nonconforming work promptly.Ensure all activities comply with site safety requirements.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.Minimum 9 years of relevant experience in mechanical construction, preferably on infrastructure or water network projects.Proven site experience with pipelines, valves, and valve chambers.Strong ability to coordinate teams, interpret technical drawings, and manage construction priorities.
