Then read on to find out more.The positionWhat will you do?As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will take a leading role throughout the complete engineering lifecycle, from requirements and concept development to detailed design, prototyping, verification and production.Your responsibilities will include:Generate and evaluate concepts for mechanical modules and systemsTranslate customer and system requirements into robust mechanical designsBreak complex designs into modules and coordinate the work of other engineersCoach and guide junior mechanical engineersPerform hands-on 3D/2D CAD and FEM/FEA modellingReview technical designs and documentationWork closely with customers, suppliers, Supply Chain and OperationsSupport Sales during customer acquisition and project developmentParticipate in prototype builds and improve designs based on testing and verificationEnsure the final design is ready for a smooth transition into series productionWhat are we looking forBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related fieldAround 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in precision mechanics or high-tech systemsExperience working at Senior, Lead or comparable technical levelStrong experience with 3D/2D CAD and FEM/FEAExperience with complex machinery, mechatronic systems or precision engineering is highly valuedA creative mindset combined with a practical, hands-on approachStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience coaching or mentoring other engineersProfessional proficiency in English, Dutch is a good bonusWhat we offerCompetitive Salary & Benefits: Including a laptop, mobile phone, full travel allowance, and pension plan.Work-Life Balance: 25 vacation days, flexible working hours in a hybrid mode.
