You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop high-quality technical solutions, ensuring designs meet client expectations, project objectives, and industry regulations.Your responsibilities will include:Producing mechanical engineering designs, specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.Ensuring designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, standards, and project requirements.Supporting the successful delivery of projects through technical coordination and collaboration.Engaging with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders throughout the design process.Providing technical input for project budgets and design proposals.Identifying project risks, scope changes, and opportunities to improve delivery.Contributing to business growth by supporting existing client relationships and identifying new opportunities.Supporting effective project planning, programme management, and cost control activities.What We're Looking ForWe know great engineers bring technical expertise, practical experience, and a collaborative mindset. Ideally, you'll bring:QualificationsDegree or Higher National qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.Membership, or working towards membership, of a recognised professional institution such as CIBSE.Experience & Technical CapabilityExperience delivering mechanical building services designs within an MEP consulting environment.Exposure to a variety of building sectors and project types.Strong understanding of relevant design codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.Experience using industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, Cymap, Hevacomp, IES, or similar tools.Knowledge of HVAC, ventilation, cooling, domestic water services, drainage, and associated building services systems.Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and project teams.Experience working within multidisciplinary delivery environments.Our Commitment to SafetySafety is everyone's responsibility.
