- Mechanical architecture of complex electronic products
- PCB and electronic hardware integration
- Enclosures, chassis and precision assemblies
- Heatsinks and thermal-management solutions
- RF / EMI shielding
- Structural and thermal simulation
- Prototyping, testing and design verification
- Materials, tolerances and manufacturing processes
- DFM / DFA and production readiness
- Supplier and manufacturing collaborationYou’ll have significant influence over how the hardware is designed, tested and ultimately manufactured. What we’re looking forYou’ll ideally bring:
- 5+ years of mechanical product-development experience
- A background in complex electronic or mechatronic hardware
- Strong 3D CAD experience — SolidWorks, Inventor, NX, Creo or similar
- Experience designing enclosures, precision mechanical assemblies or electronic packaging
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, GD&T, tolerances and DFM/DFA
- Hands-on experience with prototypes, testing and validationExperience with any of the following would be particularly valuable:
- PCB / PCBA mechanical integration
- Electronics cooling / heatsink design
- Thermal simulation / CFD / FEA
- RF or EMI/EMC shielding
- High-frequency electronics
- Scientific instrumentation
- Semiconductor equipment
- Photonics
- Aerospace / defence electronics
- Quantum hardwareYou do not need previous quantum-computing experience. What matters is that you’ve built sophisticated physical products and understand the interaction between mechanics, electronics, thermal performance and manufacturability.Delft, NetherlandsHybrid — around 3 days per week onsiteUp to €85,000 + equityIf you’re a Mechanical Engineer who enjoys solving difficult hardware problems and wants to work closer to genuinely cutting-edge technology, I’d love to hear from you.Apply directly or drop me a message for a confidential conversation.#MechanicalEngineering #MechanicalDesign #ProductDevelopment #DeepTech #QuantumComputing #HardwareEngineering #Mechatronics #EngineeringJobs #Delft #NetherlandsJobs
