Jackson Hogg is excited to be recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join an innovative engineering organisation based in Rotterdam specialising in complex subsea systems and offshore technology.As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will work within a highly collaborative team leading on the design and development of bespoke subsea equipment and complex offshore subsystems operating in some of the most challenging environments on the planet. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will play a key role in concept generation, engineering analysis, and prototype development.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop innovative mechanical systems and subsystems as a Senior Mechanical Engineer within a specialist R&D teamDeliver robust engineering designs supported by calculations, analysis, and technical justificationLead and contribute to design reviews, ensuring engineering quality and technical integritySupport prototype build, testing, and evaluation of new technologies and mechanical assembliesCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external partners to develop advanced solutionsRequirementsDegree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related disciplineExtensive experience working as a Mechanical Engineer or Senior Mechanical Engineer within an engineering or product development environmentStrong experience using 3D CAD tools such as Autodesk Inventor or similarExperience carrying out engineering calculations and analysis using tools such as MathcadProven experience designing complex large mechanical systems, machinery, vehicles, or engineered structures
