Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are working with an employer who are looking for a permanent Senior Precision Mechanical Engineer to join an international engineering organisation in the Limburg area. The employer is looking for an experienced mechanical engineer with a strong background in precision mechanical design,. ideally within a high-tech or custom-engineered environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesigning and developing high-precision mechanical components, mechanisms and systemsCreating detailed 3D CAD models, technical drawings and manufacturing documentationSelecting appropriate materials, components and manufacturing methods for precision applicationsTaking ownership of projects from initial concept through to a fully functioning systemProviding technical guidance and knowledge-sharing to junior engineers and designersEnsuring designs meet requirements for quality, cost, performance and deliveryAbout youA degree in mechanical engineering, precision mechanics or a related technical disciplineSeveral years of experience in precision mechanical design or mechanical engineeringStrong experience with 3D CAD and the creation of detailed technical drawingsA good understanding of mechanical components, materials, manufacturing processes and tolerancesA hands-on mentality and an interest in seeing your designs built, tested and optimisedThe PackageUp to €7000Company carInsurances and additional benefitsA varied role working on high-precision, custom-engineered projectsIf this role is of interest or if it’s not quite right but you’d still be open to similar precision mechanical opportunities, or have any additional questions, please press apply.
