Looking to work on world-class FPSO and offshore energy projects within an international engineering environment?At CELESTAL, we are supporting a major offshore engineering project and are looking for a Senior Mechanical Equipment Engineer to join an international multidisciplinary engineering team.Your Responsibilities:⚙️ Mechanical Equipment Engineering• Design and manage mechanical equipment packages for spread-moored FPSOs and turret systems• Analyze client requirements and propose fit-for-purpose mechanical equipment solutions• Ensure engineering deliverables are produced with high quality, on schedule, and within budget• Review vendor bids and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements• Support equipment selection and technical evaluations throughout the project lifecycle🌊 Offshore Mechanical Systems• Work on fluid power control systems including hydraulic systems, chemical injection units, and process control units• Support the engineering of mechanical equipment such as pressure vessels, pumps, winches, cranes, hoists, and handling systems• Ensure equipment interfaces are fully coordinated with piping, electrical, instrumentation, and process disciplines• Contribute to reliable, safe, and efficient offshore mechanical solutions🤝 Project & Technical Coordination• Coordinate technical interfaces with clients, vendors, Engineering Project Managers, Package Managers, and multidisciplinary teams• Drive engineering subcontractors and equipment vendors to achieve project objectives• Monitor technical progress and ensure compliance with project specifications• Contribute proactively to solving technical challenges across complex offshore projects📈 What We're Looking For:🧠 Experience✔️ Engineering degree with a strong Mechanical Engineering focus✔️ Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas Engineering✔️ Experience with offshore mechanical equipment packages✔️ Strong coordination and interface management skills⚙️ Technical Skills✔️ Fluid power control systems (hydraulic systems, chemical injection units, process control units)✔️ Mechanical equipment engineering (pressure vessels, pumps)✔️ Handling equipment (winches, cranes, hoists)✔️ Good understanding of piping, electrical, instrumentation, and process disciplines✔️ Vendor technical evaluation and documentation review✔️ Mechanical package engineering for FPSO or offshore projects🌍 International offshore engineering environment🚀 Opportunity to work on large-scale FPSO and offshore energy projects⚡ Exposure to multidisciplinary engineering, vendor management, and complex offshore mechanical systemsReady to take the lead?
