Senior Medical Director, Neuromuscular Clinical DevelopmentA growing biotechnology company focused on cell-type specific delivery of genetic medicines is seeking a Senior Medical Director, Neuromuscular to lead the clinical strategy and execution of a neuromuscular disease development program.This is a high-impact individual contributor role with responsibility for clinical development strategy, study design and execution, medical oversight, safety, regulatory interactions, and cross-functional leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesLead clinical development strategy for a neuromuscular programProvide medical leadership across Phase 1–3 clinical studiesLead protocol development, study execution, and medical monitoringOversee safety assessment and collaborate with PharmacovigilanceSupport INDs, CTAs, and other global regulatory submissionsParticipate in FDA, EMA, and other health authority interactionsPartner with Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Biostatistics, Safety, and R&DEngage investigators, KOLs, and external scientific expertsQualificationsM.D. or D.O. required10+ years of clinical research and drug development experienceSignificant neuromuscular clinical development experience strongly preferredExperience with Phase 1–3 clinical trials requiredExperience leading clinical programs across multiple geographiesStrong knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and global regulatory requirementsExperience with regulatory submissions and health authority interactionsExcellent strategic, scientific, and communication skillsThis is an individual contributor leadership role with significant responsibility for shaping clinical development strategy and execution.
