Location: Onsite at the Client location in Dubai, UAENote: Immediate joiners preferred Project DescriptionWe're building a delivery team for a large, multi-phase enterprise Mendix programme and are looking for a Senior Mendix Developer to lead the technical build as a key member of the team.

Role summaryWe are looking for a Senior Mendix Developer to act as Technical Lead for a large, multi-phase enterprise Mendix programme, building the most complex processes and integrations and leading a hybrid onsite/offsite team of Mendix, mobile, integration and DevOps engineers. Key responsibilities- Lead the day-to-day technical build and act as the technical point of contact for the development, mobile, integration and DevOps team.- Take over an existing Mendix application built by another team and extend it rather than rebuild it.- Build the most complex processes, including multi-step approval workflows with send-back, SLA timers and escalation, calculation and rules engines, and financial postings.- Guide the build of shared components: request handling, configurable rules, notifications, document generation, schedulers, reports and KPI dashboards.- Guide the Mendix native mobile build (iOS and Android), including offline drafts, secure storage, biometric login, push notifications and in-app payments.- Lead the Mendix side of all integrations with the Integration Developer: REST/SOAP contracts, error handling, retries, idempotency, exception queues and reconciliation.- Integrate with document management, digital identity and e-signature, payment gateway, finance/ERP, banking, CRM and government systems through the ESB.- Work with the DevOps Engineer on CI/CD for Mendix web and native mobile builds, environment promotion and releases in waves.- Set development standards, run code reviews, estimate work and track progress through each wave and tollgate.- Support SIT, performance and security testing, UAT, go-live and hypercare.- Mentor developers onsite and offsite, and hand over documentation to the client's support team. Key requirements- Mendix Advanced certification (state certificate ID).- 4+ years of hands-on Mendix: workflows, microflows, nanoflows, domain modelling, security and performance tuning.- REST (JSON) and SOAP (XML) integration in Mendix, including published REST/OData services and import/export mappings.- API authentication (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, API keys, certificates) and integration through an ESB / middleware layer.- Reliable integration patterns: error handling, retries, idempotency, callbacks / webhooks, batch / file exchange, logging and reconciliation.- Mendix native mobile (iOS and Android): offline-first design, device features and mobile security (working knowledge or better).- Microsoft Azure, Git, and CI/CD for Mendix web and native mobile builds (working knowledge or better).- Arabic / English multilingual applications with full RTL.- Experience leading or mentoring a development team.
