This is a hands-on role for someone who can build complex solutions themselves while leading, mentoring and guiding a team of developers. You'll own application architecture and delivery quality, set technical standards for the team, and be the go-to technical authority on Mendix for our developers, product owners and business stakeholders.What You'll DoDesign, build and deploy scalable enterprise web and mobile applications on MendixOwn application architecture, including domain models, microflows, security and performance optimizationIntegrate Mendix applications with ERP, CRM and other enterprise systems using REST, SOAP and OData APIsTranslate business requirements into technical solutions in partnership with stakeholders and product ownersProvide technical leadership to the development team, including task allocation, technical guidance and unblocking issuesMentor and coach junior and mid-level Mendix developersConduct code and model reviews, and enforce Mendix best practices and coding standardsEstimate effort and plan technical work within Agile/Scrum sprintsManage the application lifecycle, including version control, CI/CD pipelines and cloud deploymentsWhat You Bring6+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years of hands-on Mendix developmentStrong command of domain modeling, microflows, nanoflows, page design and Mendix securitySolid experience with REST, SOAP and OData integrationsStrong background in Java, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS/SCSS for custom widgets and Java actionsGood knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MS SQL ServerExperience with Git, Jira and Agile/Scrum deliveryProven technical team lead skills, including:Leading and mentoring developersRunning code reviews and setting technical standardsTask breakdown, estimation and sprint planningMaking technical decisions and owning delivery qualityCommunicating clearly with stakeholders and managementExcellent English communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiencesMendix Advanced Developer Certification strongly preferred (Expert Developer Certification is a strong plus)Ability to work on-site full-time in DubaiNice to HaveExperience with Mendix Native Mobile, Workflows, Data Hub or Pluggable WidgetsExperience deploying Mendix applications on Mendix Cloud, AWS, Azure, Docker or KubernetesDomain experience in government, banking, logistics or manufacturing in the GCC regionTo apply, candidates who meet the above requirements are requested to share:Updated CVNotice periodMonthly salary expectations
