Day-to-day responsibilities include planning product assortments, coordinating with design and production teams, monitoring inventory levels, and analyzing sales data to optimize product performance. The role involves working closely with buyers and customers, preparing samples and presentations, and ensuring that products meet quality, pricing, and delivery expectations. The Senior Merchandiser will also track market trends, propose new product ideas, and support marketing initiatives to strengthen brand positioning. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area.Qualifications Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to collaborate with internal teams, buyers, and clients.Sales and Retail experience, preferably in leather goods, fashion, or accessories.Marketing skills to support product positioning, promotional activities, and brand visibility.Experience in merchandising, product development, and inventory planning.Ability to analyze sales reports, market trends, and customer feedback to drive merchandising decisions.Attention to detail, quality-focused mindset, and strong organizational skills.Proficiency with MS Office and basic merchandising or inventory software tools.Relevant diploma or degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
