Senior Merchant Operations AssociateRole OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Merchant Operations Associate to manage key operational programs for a delivery platform in Sri Lanka. The role focuses on merchant hardware, in-store branding, and content quality, requiring strong project management, negotiation, and cost optimization skills.Key ResponsibilitiesManage merchant hardware procurement, distribution, and lifecycle management.Oversee merchant operational supplies and ensure cost efficiency.Lead in-store branding and visibility initiatives across markets.Manage merchant photography and content quality programs.Negotiate and coordinate with external vendors and suppliers.Support local CRM and lifecycle marketing initiatives.Manage projects, budgets, timelines, and performance tracking.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and merchant experience.RequirementsBetween 3 - 5 years of experience in Project Management, Operations, Business Operations, or a related field.Strong project management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Experience managing vendors, suppliers, or external partners.Strong commercial awareness and cost optimization skills.Ability to balance business objectives with merchant needs.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.Preferred SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; SQL is an advantage.Understanding of cost analysis and ROI.Experience in e-commerce, logistics, retail, FMCG, or marketplace operations.Exposure to hardware management, branding, field operations, or CRM campaigns.If interested, please share your resume via careers@talentstudio.io.
