Candidates joining Palm Mind AI will work in a setting that values technical excellence, problem-solving, and long-term client partnerships.Role Description The Senior MERN Stack Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js. The developer will collaborate with AI/ML engineers and product teams to build robust APIs, integrate AI services, and deliver intuitive user interfaces. Daily responsibilities include writing clean and testable code, reviewing peer code, optimizing performance, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to architectural decisions. The Senior MERN Stack Developer will also mentor junior developers, participate in sprint planning, and ensure best practices in security, documentation, and deployment.Qualifications Strong proficiency in MERN stack technologies (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration of third-party platforms and AI/ML services.Solid understanding of front-end development (React hooks, state management, responsive design) and back-end architectures.Hands-on experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).Knowledge of application security, performance optimization, and scalable system design.Ability to conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and maintain high-quality documentation.Demonstrated experience collaborating in cross-functional teams and mentoring developers.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Prior experience in AI/ML-driven products or data-intensive applications is a plus.Comfort working on-site in Kathmandu with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
