Senior Mobile App Develope

Role Description The Senior Mobile App Developer will design, develop, and maintain mobile applications that support AISSM’s programs, training initiatives, and stakeholder engagement. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, integrating backend services and databases, optimizing app performance, and ensuring a secure and user-friendly experience. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions, troubleshooting issues, and implementing enhancements based on user feedback. This is a part-time, hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with a combination of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Software Development skills, including mobile app architecture design and application lifecycle management.Candidates should possess solid Programming skills, such as proficiency in one or more mobile-focused languages or frameworks (e.g., Java/Kotlin, Swift, Flutter, React Native).Candidates should possess experience working with Databases, including designing schemas, managing data integrity, and integrating apps with relational or NoSQL data stores.Candidates should possess knowledge of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) or equivalent styling approaches for mobile and web front-end interfaces.Candidates should possess Integration skills, including connecting apps to APIs, third-party services, and backend systems securely and efficiently.Relevant experience in developing Android and/or iOS applications and publishing apps to app stores.Understanding of UX/UI principles and ability to collaborate with designers to create accessible and intuitive interfaces.Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to work independently in a hybrid environment.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience working with mission-driven or non-profit organizations, or interest in sustainable development and responsible resource use, is beneficial.
