12-Month Contract | High Potential for ExtensionHybrid work model | Fantastic Culture and EnvironmentMust have Malaysian Citizenhip, RPT, or PR An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Mobile App Developer to join a major digital program focused on improving application performance, delivering a consistent user experience, strengthening integrations and creating sustainable mobile platforms.This is a hands-on role suited to a developer with strong native iOS and Android experience who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and delivering high-quality mobile applications.As the Mobile App Developer, you'll be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of native iOS and Android applications and supporting services.You'll play a key role across platform consolidation, application enhancements, integrations and remediation while helping deliver new features across current and future projects.Working within a collaborative development team, you'll partner with business analysts, project managers, testers and other technical stakeholders to deliver innovative, reliable and user-focused mobile solutions.What You'll Be DoingDesign and develop native iOS and Android applications using Swift and Kotlin.Develop and maintain integrations with back-end services and APIs.Provide technical solutions to complex challenges throughout the project lifecycle.Contribute to reusable code, components and libraries for future development.Translate user stories and business requirements into technical requirements and detailed effort estimates.Optimise mobile applications for performance, scalability, security and usability.Collaborate with the wider team to continuously improve application functionality and user experience.Maintain high standards of code quality and development practices, including code reviews, pull requests and branching strategies.Support application automation, deployment and release management.Manage and support releases through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.Stay across emerging mobile technologies and contribute to continuous improvement across development practices and processes. Ideally, you'll have:Strong native iOS and Android development experience using Swift and Kotlin.In-depth knowledge of iOS and Android SDKs and frameworks.Experience working with cloud platforms and services such as Firebase and AWS.Strong experience integrating JSON/RESTful APIs with back-end services.Experience writing unit tests and UI tests.End-to-end experience administering, deploying and releasing applications through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.Strong knowledge of enterprise design patterns, modular application architecture, accessibility and maintainable code.Experience with modern development practices including Git, pull requests, code reviews, branching strategies and app release management.Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.The ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into practical, well-designed technical solutions.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers and non-technical stakeholders.If you're an experienced Mobile App Developer with strong Swift and Kotlin skills looking for your next contract opportunity, apply now or to find out more please contact Peter via email on Peter.Li@talentinternational.com
