📱 Senior Mobile Engineer | NYC | $160k–$200k + EquityThis isn’t your typical “maintain our mobile app” role.I’m working with a high-growth consumer technology company that is building a new Growth team, and they’re looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to be the founding mobile hire.You’ll have a big say in how the mobile experience is built across the entire customer journey — from first interaction → onboarding → purchase → subscription → engagement → referral.And the product has already reached 1M+ families, with the business backed by $125M in funding.What makes it interesting?You won’t just be picking up tickets.You’ll be:→ Building features across iOS and Android→ Working across Kotlin + Swift→ Building subscription, onboarding, referral and in-app experiences→ Working closely with Product, Design, Backend and QA→ Owning experimentation, feature flags and event instrumentation→ Helping shape the technical direction of a brand-new Growth function→ Working with Kotlin Multiplatform + Compose for iOSThey're looking for:+ 5+ years building production mobile applications]+ Strong Kotlin and Swift+ Experience with Jetpack Compose and/or SwiftUI+ Someone who has owned projects end-to-end and is comfortable making decisions independently+ Strong understanding of concurrency, OOP and clean architecture+ A genuine focus on UX, testing and code quality+ Kotlin Multiplatform experience is a bonus.💰 $160k–$200k base + equity + benefits📍 NYC | Hybrid, 3 days in office👶 Paid parental leave📈 Equity🎉 Monthly team eventsThe big selling point for me is the ownership.You'd be the founding mobile engineer on a new Growth team, with the opportunity to influence the product, architecture and how the team operates as it scales.If you're a Senior iOS / Android / Mobile Engineer in NYC and want to build something from the ground up rather than inherit an established roadmap, apply or DM me and I would love to run over the details.
