Employment Type: ContractualJob Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mobile Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Android development, particularly using Kotlin and Java, along with practical experience in iOS development using Swift and SwiftUI.The role requires hands-on experience in mobile application architecture, API integration, Firebase services, security implementation, and device-level integrations, including QR/barcode scanning, biometric authentication, GPS, camera, and facial verification. The candidate will work closely with backend developers, UI/UX designers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and user-friendly mobile applications.

Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.Develop Android applications using Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, and relevant Android development frameworks.Develop and maintain iOS application features using Swift, SwiftUI, or UIKit.Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, backend systems, third-party services, and Firebase.Implement device hardware and software integrations, including QR/barcode scanning, biometric authentication, GPS/location services, camera functionality, facial verification, and Bluetooth/BLE where required.Develop secure authentication, authorization, session management, and data-handling mechanisms.Implement mobile application architecture patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture to ensure maintainability and scalability.Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization across different devices and operating system versions.Identify and resolve technical issues related to application crashes, memory usage, network connectivity, and device compatibility.Use Git and related version-control tools to manage source code, collaborate with development teams, and maintain code quality.Work with CI/CD pipelines to support automated builds, testing, and application deployment.Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate design specifications into responsive, accessible, and user-friendly mobile interfaces.Ensure applications follow mobile security best practices and platform-specific development guidelines.Maintain technical documentation, contribute to code reviews, and recommend improvements in development standards and application performance.Coordinate with QA, backend, product, and project teams to deliver development milestones within agreed timelines.Required Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of professional experience in mobile application development.Strong hands-on expertise in Android development using Kotlin, Java, and Android SDK.Practical experience in iOS application development using Swift, SwiftUI, or UIKit.Proven experience integrating REST APIs, Firebase services, and third-party libraries.Hands-on experience with mobile device capabilities, including camera, GPS, QR/barcode scanning, biometric authentication, and facial verification.Good understanding of mobile application architecture, object-oriented programming, data structures, and software development best practices.Experience with Git, debugging tools, testing frameworks, and CI/CD workflows.Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently, manage multiple development tasks, and meet project deadlines.Preferred Skills & Technical Knowledge:Experience with Android Jetpack, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, Room, Retrofit, and OkHttp.Familiarity with iOS SDKs, native iOS development tools, and Apple application deployment processes.Understanding of mobile application security, secure storage, encryption, and OWASP Mobile Application Security principles.Experience with automated testing, application monitoring, crash reporting, and performance analysis tools.Familiarity with Bluetooth/BLE, NFC, or other hardware integrations.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional development teams.
